During the holiday season of 2000, I had a yearning to create a web site where I could use my passion of meteorology to produce live and historical
information to the public. I began the page with a host from Geocities during the first days of January 2001. I quickly developed a layout with a raw feel that
that portrayed the area that I lived in. After three weeks of page development, I spent three more weeks on connecting the station
to my site. Davis Instruments did not have well defined instructions during the time I developed the site. All hard work soon paid off.

During the first week of April 2001, my family and I moved to North Conway, New Hampshire. By this time, my site had developed an audience. The station was hooked up by April 15, but I worked on improving the site for two more weeks. I added and improved all sections. The layout changed slightly as I added some graphics.

In June, the true colors of Geocities showed as my site became powerless for 4 days. I searched for a new host and wanted a service that was stable. To my delight, I found Dell Host. I nearly quadrupled the content of the site and improved the graphics drastically. After one month of hard work, the site debut on August 1, 2001.
